We are all born a hollow bamboo…a hollow flute…No wonder infants and children across geographic continents radiate divinity…for the divine simply plays out it’s tune in them….
Absolutely tender, pristine and pure are they…. for they are carriers of the divine…the grown ups like to flock to them… for somewhere deep down in them…. they are reminded of their own divinity…of days gone by, when they themselves were messengers of the divine…
This undercurrent of divinity haunts all of mankind…and the hunt is ON…. always ON… through Gadgets, through Speed, through Technology, through Science, Through Sex, Through Money, Through Travel,Through Degrees… Through Identity…Through Lineage …all undertaken to “isolate” those bells of divinity that had rung once in the not so distant pass… The echoes are still heard…
But somewhere from being pristine and wild and largely unconditioned…. Society has stepped in and brought in culture, identity, success and conditioning…. It is not bad….but is it also the hindrance in the path??
Hunting for the distant memories of the chimes from the not so distant past… but through paths of Societally created Glitter….on the outside…
Glitter is real… yet unreal… it is not the source… And that which derives its identity not from the source….often only ends up as glamorous yet artificial….unreal yet sophisticated identities….Prompting up something known as an Ego….. It perhaps can be classified Religious, Scholarly, Scientific, Rich, Powerful, Humble to name a few…..

That which is considered real from an Unreal Source can never be truly real in one sense…At best it can only be a shadow…or a mirage…a beautiful one….a marketed one…
Yet it creates blocks in the flutes that we all are…in the hollow bamboos we all are…blocks which prevent the flow of the divine in us…
The blocks are unreal…artificially induced…something non existential… yet we consider them to be real…The irony of Life??

Chip away at the societal identifications that these blocks have created….chip away the labels that these identifications have created…One may visualize it or feel that it is indeed painful…but again… plucking away at the unreal can only “appear painful”….
Buddha has mentioned “Neti-Neti”…Neither this Nor that…for all the queries that that the mind attempts to cover up with saying I am this and I am that…
Nor is it implied that one has to sacrifice his riches and escape to the Himalayas…One simply needs to develop the awareness to be a Buddha in a Bar….balanced..

One simply can return to the child like states….letting go the weights we have picked up… letting go the blocks we may have accumulated…simply fall back in the immediate vicinity of the temple bells in us…. to return to that pristine state that we are all born with… to simply be available for the existential music to flow through us…
Perhaps one day Krishna may pick up his flute and play through us…We simply need to be available!!!

Loved the last sentence, krishna might play the flute through us, we simply need to be available …Well said 👌
It is easier said than done to return to our child like qualities. But definitely workable with conscious effort. May Lord Buddha’s peace and tranquility radiate and bless us!
Your message chimes with the endeavors of human mind to seek its identity. As you mentioned, the locations, the distractions, the identifications of one self with a set of beliefs, call it sect or religion may turn out to be blocks in the hollow bamboo avoiding the smooth, free flow..
Yes, we need to be available, be aware, and go back to the innocence of childhood.
